With only three short weeks worth of blank spaces left in your calendar until the hottest party on the planet kicks off the festival season, we hope you are ready for the thrill and adventure that is SXSW! Everything gets wild and regardless of what you get into you are almost guaranteed to have a blast. There is never a dull moment at SXSW, as long as you keep these three things on check: A flask well hidden and filled with Fireball at all times – A cheerful group of (friends or strangers, it doesn’t really matter) ready to share the afternoon appreciating live art and the unity of people that came together for the same goal – and a progressive mind ready to learn and grab as many new musical influences as you can, because most likely the next time you see many of these artists again will be through your laptop screen scrolling down on Rollingstone Mag, Pitchfork or Nakid Magazine.
